The fundamental means of getting ahead in life entails the maximisation of our natural endowment, otherwise talents. There’s no doubt that establishing a lasting legacy is by judiciously investing in the things for which its value is capable of yielding substantial benefits and the most important of these is human beings.
Therefore, when you’ve activated your potential, don’t stop there; it’s time to have a sense of fulfilment, to ‘get the ball rolling’. Your aspiration has transformed your idea into something great, but your vision and inspiration will take it to a tremendous level. Now, consider yourself as someone who is not born to live for himself but for something greater than mere average life. Therefore, that which you’ve activated is yet to reach the climax, hence, the need to ‘bite the bullet’ and maximise that potential.
Many people fail to reach their full potential because they have a major thinking deficiency. The quality of their thought is tantamount to mental slavery and a conditioned mind. There is a genius in every human being; thus, the need to develop a healthy mindset because our mind is like a gold mine. One of the obstacles in reaching our full potential is the idea that there is no further room for growth vis a vis improvement because many people need to understand that learning is a continuous process, a lifelong activity. In that case, they become motionless and stop exploring avenues to grow, sliming their chances of reaching their full potential.
Secondly, one’s attitude towards his current status or job position cannot be neglected because his last success may become an obstacle to a higher goal. When you surround yourself with a sense of relevance, you’re fully aware of the economic term, “Diminishing Returns”. Maximising your potential will give you a sense of personal power. Therefore, you’ll resolve to keep your room at the top. This is where Innovation takes centre stage, so inspiration will eliminate every expiration. But unfortunately, some people may be willing to transcend the next level, but lack of direction and reassessment of their career path keep them stagnant.
The sense of competition may arise but try and quickly channel it to yourself as you’re the only one to compete with. Notwithstanding, your quest to maximise your potential will prompt you to acquire what you aspire. “The moment you’re at the right trajectory of your future, you’ll continue to aspire and will never expire before you retire”. You may be surprised to understand that you’re doing what others said is impossible, thereby discovering ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.
Conversely, People matter, and that’s why great leaders build great organisations around them, a kind of ‘irons in the fire’.
If it requires collaboration to maximise your potential, consider it essential because commitment breeds committee. Therefore, building a winning team around you to maximise your potential is the right approach in the right direction. Ultimately, “Look towards the eagle, and one day, you’ll soar above the sky and beyond”. A STATE OF grandeur
