In every coding, a decoding mechanism is involved. Regrettably, “We are drowning in information but starved for knowledge”. ― John Naisbitt.
Holistic education discards subjective thoughts and exhorts us to develop a compassionate understanding of the world. It’s this subjective thought that usually enslaves man because it’s difficult to alter when it has penetrated deep inside our hearts.
The earlier we realise that “The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.” (―Plutarch), the better for us.
Has it occurred to your mind the dangers of subjective thoughts? This subjective thought is extremely powerful because it controls a person and forces him to remain ignorant of his own mind and the programming of others. Absolutely, “Learning in the true sense of the word,” says Jiddu Krishnamurti. “is possible only in that state of attention, in which there is no outer or inner compulsion. Right thinking can come about only when the mind is not enslaved by tradition and memory”.
The holistic approach to education, which encompasses psychological, moral, social, and academic needs, should be prioritised over a narrow focus on core curriculum and memorisation techniques.
Unassuming, many people are ‘caught between a rock and a hard place’ while in their academic environment, including those who should be on the ‘honour roll’. Advertently, “Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance”. ― George Bernard Shaw
Censorship, disorientation, and indoctrination are discreetly integrated into the curriculum. This action has resulted in modifying the criteria for success, undermining logical analysis, ideation, and innovative decision-making, thereby rendering the concept of free expression obsolete. This issue has led to intellectual distortions and hindered the development of a growth mindset.
But don’t be obsessed because” When the state or federal government controls the education of all of our children, they have the dangerous and illegitimate monopoly to control and influence the thought process of our citizens”. ―Michael Badnarik
Contrary to popular belief, some individuals perceive knowledge as a costly endeavour. However, it is ignorance that carries a higher price tag. Individuals have embraced subjective knowledge and neglected critical thinking, resulting in a normalisation of ignorance.
Consequently, “If you’re yet to question what you believe in, review what you’re compelled to incorporate, untie yourself from the things being programmed in your mind, any ‘truth’ sought-after, can’t be found”.
Any attempt to navigate away and deconstruct our mind from a subjective mindset should involve thinking out of the box and engaging ourselves in hard thoughts and ideas that seem impossible to achieve. Although one could think out of the box and yet remain inside the same box when such a person refuses to implement those worthy thoughts. “A quality education,” says Charles B. Rangel “, grants us the ability to fight the war on ignorance and poverty.”
Have you ever wondered why certain individuals are deemed unemployable and face significant challenges securing employment? Hiring such individuals is not feasible as it requires fitting a square peg into a round hole.
“The subjective mind vis a vis knowledge has never made relatively positive progress in the journey towards the liberation of the human mind”.
